dude, to add on everything else everyone has said try golf discount. They are tax free and include free shipping. Carry all the newest clubs and are cheaper than any website that anyone listed for new top of the line clubs.

Firstly Don’t bother with the internet, it’s fantastic for golf products that you don’t care how they look as long as they work. (Hat’s / Tee’s / Bag’s / Ball’s)

For your actual golf clubs you should always go and hold the club (and if not THE ACTUAL CLUB as 4-woods are quite unusual and so probably are not in stock then a similar version so that you get an idea of how it looks and feels)

Follow these 8 easy steps: –

1: Walk into your Local American Golf Store

2: Say "Hello Nice Sales Assistant, I am after a 4-Wood to go into my set, I have always wanted a Nike Version of a 4-wood, is this possible?"

3: The Sales Assistent will then say Yes or No. If Yes, GREAT, for the purpose of this answer lets pretend he said No.

4: You Say "Oh No, well what Brands do you offer 4-Woods in. (I have personally purchased a Taylor Made Burner 4-Wood (Daddy’s Birthday Prezzie) and a Ping G10 4-wood in the last 6 months)

5: The Sales Assistent will then say "Why Sir, you are correct, here is the selection of 4-woods we have available, which would you like

6: Purchase Chosen 4-wood and Lob Wedge, inform Sales Assistent how your amazing product knowledge enabled him to do his job better and how you have brought 2 x products and ask for discount.

(HINT – Never EVER ask for MONEY OFF from Discount Golf Shops, they will only knock a maximum of £5 / £10 off and say they can’t offer any more off as it is already discounted, Instead ask for an actual product like Balls or Gloves, these they are more likely to give – I brought a brand new Motocaddy Bag and a Pair of Shoes and Managed to get a 2 x Dozen Srixon SRC’s and 4 x Wilson Glove’s thrown in!! – RRP = Over £70!!)

7: Take New clubs to local course and play someone with a 28 Handicapp (You know the type – You have to remind them NOT to wear Jeans on the course and they answer their mobile phone on your backswing. Yes THAT guy!) and DESTROY THEM. Proving once and for all that New Equipment DOES make you a better player.

8: Come back to Yahoo Answers and award ME 10 Points.

Visit your local pro for I am sure he will be open to offers. I recently bought a brand new Callaway Fusion 4 wood for £50( about £100 below list price). At least you can try them out on approval and then decide upon which club to buy.

So i would recommend that you look for a specific loft, not a "4 Wood". Look into a 16-17 degree wood that fits your needs. I look to callaway for this. they have the best selection of lofts. Also look into taylormade. They have the best selection of woods on the market performancewise.

I wonder if it has something to do with a discount vs. the "normal rate"? I mean, while companies say they give discounts to seniors, what they’re really doing is charging younger people more, which is discriminatory. You can’t advertise a "discount for white people" any more than you can simply charge minorities more.

But is there actually a law saying you can’t do that? That’s what I’m trying to find and I can’t. I wonder if you CAN charge different rates to different people… but it’s just that no one does it because it would be bad for business.

I was able to find a #4 wood at RockBottomGolf.com, who I’ve bought from many times and would definitely rate as reputable! Don’t know much about the maker or model, however, it does have a few user reviews:
