where do you fine golf cars for sale in Illinois

I don’t mean that i want to buy a golf cart from any of you of course, but where can i buy a STREET LEGAL preferably electric golf cart. I don’t want a golf cart that i will have to buy 1000 extra pieces to put it together and also how much do you think this golf cart would cost? Used or New?

The key factor here is that you want street legal and that changes everything.

First it depends on your local laws on whether or not an electric cart could be tagged and legally driven on public streets, unless of course you’re just talking about driving it around your neighborhood.

If its going to be street legal it needs seatbelts, turn signals, brake lights, head lights, impact resistant tempered glass windshield and the ability to maintain 35 MPH. These are features not normally found on electric golf carts. These type would run 12 thousand and up

As far as a normal electric golf cart, new should run 7 to 9 thousand depending on how its equipped.
Used would run anywhere from 2 to 4 thousand depending on age

Best bets though are to look in your local paper or craigslist – Keep in mind that they are very easy and cheap to paint and most will run like brand new with a new set of batteries which run about 600.

So buying a perceived junker can save you a lot and then you will have a better cart in the long run, after paint, batteries, seats and wheels – All available on EBAY
